Rooms can be set to record transcripts conversations that take place in the room. The transcripts can then be viewed later in HTML format. You have the option of making the transcripts available to all users, or just to administrators and moderators. Administrators can also choose how long transcripts are retained for, and whether room moderators may control transcripts for their room. Users are always notified when their conversations are being recorded. Not available with FREE Edition.
Administrators can now configure ChatSpace remotely from any Java enabled web browser by using the new web-based Remote Administration tool. An online ChatSpace Configuration Manual, in HTML, provides detailed explanations of all the ChatSpace Configuration options. Not available with FREE Edition.
Administrators can now embed the Java Client into web pages easily using the new Java Embedding Wizard. This makes integrating ChatSpace directly into an existing site even easier.

The look and feel of the ChatSpace web interface has been updated. The new interface gives you instant access to chat rooms and private chats with individual members. In connection with the Community Directory it also allows your nickname to follow you as you move between chat sites.
ChatSpace now supports the hosting of up to several hundred "virtual" chat servers on one physical system. Each chat server has a unique configurations including IP address and DNS name.
